Our Vocational School affiliated to Gaziosmanpasa University was established on a land of 32 decares in Tufantepe district of Almus district of Tokat Province in 1995 and started its educational activities in 1997-1998. in 2011, educational activities started in the new educational building with a closed area of 4500 m2. There are 13 classrooms, 2 conference rooms, 4 student research and application laboratories, 1 computer laboratory, dining hall and cafeteria areas in our Vocational School building.
Our school is a shining example of Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University with a staff almost as strong as a faculty, 1 professor, 6 doctoral faculty members and others who have completed or are about to complete their doctoral and master's degrees, with a unique beautiful campus area where the magical meeting of blue and green is experienced. He became a candidate to become a star. Dec Gaziosmanpasa University, with its number of more than 500 students and employment-oriented departments as of 2023, our school has started to take its rightful place among the leading Vocational Schools not only of Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University but also of the region. As Almus Vocational School, our goal is not only to reach a high point in terms of the number of faculty members, departments and students, but also to provide a qualified education with high graduate employment rates.
As the Director of the Vocational School, I believe that increasing the quality and quality of education can only be achieved by ensuring academic success, at the same time, our young people should be aware of being a university student by participating in social and cultural events. Based on this idea, we encourage our students to engage in social and cultural activities as well as academic activities, and we try to contribute to their multifaceted development. We meet the needs of our students with the unique natural beauties of our campus area, the professional basketball, volleyball and football fields we have, and the opportunities offered to our students by the district of Almus.
